Do you know a Great Friend to Kids? Please Touch Museum® invites you to submit a nomination for its 15th Annual Great Friend to Kids awards.
This inspiring event honors individuals and organizations with ties to the Greater Philadelphia region that have made outstanding contributions to enriching the lives of children. Past award winners include the Philadelphia Eagles; Stan and Jan Berenstain, co-authors of the Berenstain Bears children’s books; The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program; Alex Scott, founder of Alex’s Lemonade Stand; NBA All-Star Dikembe Mutombo, founder of the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation; the Phillie Phanatic; and philanthropist Anne Hamilton.
Recipients will be honored at an award ceremony held at Memorial Hall on Thursday, October 7, 2010. Sponsorship opportunities, individual tickets and program book ads are available. Proceeds from the event will support Please Touch Museum’s education and community programs. The nomination deadline is Monday, July 5, 2010.
